Born and raised in Gig Harbor, I have been cutting hair since 1998 and opened The Shop in 2019!
As the owner of The Shop, I take pride in creating an environment where every client feels welcome, relaxed, and leaves looking and feeling good!
I believe a great haircut is more than just a service, it’s an experience built on trust, attention to detail, and genuine connection. My goal is to help every client find a style that fits their personality and lifestyle while making sure they feel comfortable, heard, and cared for.
One of my favorite parts of my profession is getting to know the people in my chair and building lasting relationships over the years.
When I’m not at The Shop, you will usually find me strength training, running or hiking. I also enjoy traveling to sunny climates often. I LOVE the water and I spend a lot of time on it as well.
One of the most familiar faces at my shop isn’t a stylist—it’s my dog, Keila! She’s with me almost everywhere I go and is a big part of our welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. If you love dogs, she will be happy to say hello!

San Diego native that relocated to Gig Harbor, Mike had a passion for barbering! With a keen eye for precision, his cuts and exceptional service have earned him a loyal clientele! When Mike is not cutting hair, he enjoys exploring Gig Harbor scenic surroundings with his family. He is committed to making a lasting impact at The Shop!
